My Background

I grew up in the United States playing team sports and have always considered myself an athlete. Ten years ago, my career brought me to the UK, where I’ve been lucky enough to call home ever since.

Pilates was something I dipped in and out of over the years, but everything changed after having my daughter in 2022. I discovered a new love for both Matwork and Reformer Pilates—and this time, I really committed to it.

The more consistently I practiced, the more I surprised myself. I found strength, control, and muscles I never knew I had. But what I love most about Pilates goes beyond the physical.

For that one hour, I’m completely focused on me. No distractions, no to-do lists—just my body, my breath, and the movement. It’s become my time to reset, challenge myself, and leave feeling stronger both physically and mentally.

And that’s what I want to share with you: the strength, energy, and confidence that Pilates can bring—whatever your starting point.

Why STOTT PILATES®?

When I decided to train as a Pilates instructor, I knew I wanted to learn from a method that was rooted in both the fundamentals of Pilates and modern exercise science. That’s what led me to STOTT Pilates.

What really stood out to me was the focus on anatomy, alignment, and how the body moves. STOTT Pilates takes the original principles of Pilates and combines them with contemporary knowledge of the body, making it a thoughtful and adaptable approach to movement.

For me, Pilates isn’t about simply completing a series of exercises. It’s about understanding why we move the way we do, building strength with intention, and creating better awareness of our bodies.

I also love that STOTT Pilates can be adapted to different bodies, abilities, and goals. Whether you’re completely new to Pilates, returning to exercise, looking to build strength, rehabilitating from injury, or simply wanting to move and feel better, the method can meet you where you are.

My own Pilates journey has shown me just how powerful this practice can be, both physically and mentally. Choosing STOTT Pilates to train with felt like the natural next step—giving me the knowledge and tools to share that same experience with others.

My goal is simple: to help you feel stronger, more connected to your body, and confident in how you move.
